I’m very excited. That is all. 

It was bought on complete impulse, with a flagrant disregard for every rule in the book about guitar buying. 

But I cant wait!

What’s life without a bit of a gamble, eh! It’s hardly life or death is it. If I don’t like it I’ll sell it on and hope to not take too much of a bath on it! 

I think it actually works in my favour that I’ve never played anything but a Strat. The things that may bother a real Gibson enthusiast / traditionalist will mean nothing to me and I’ll like the guitar based on its own merits and not my preconceived notions of what it should or shouldn’t be like

Buying without preconceptions can be a good idea. I'd never owned a Les Paul before I bought my 2015 Traditional, and I'm pleased with it. Hope you enjoy it Martin, and if you don't you'll at least have tried it!
