I can leave this earth knowing my work at theFretboard is done.

For the record- 1963 6G16 Vibroverb, 2 x 10 totally stock, one of only 598 ever made. Arguably the greatest and rarest amp Fender ever made (actually they made 19 beige tolex ones which fetch ridic sums and I've only ever seen one pic of one)

It sounds glorious.

Nice. One of those is responsible for the best tones I've ever heard on a record (the whole of Waiting For The Punchline by Extreme).

I played it last night - I just couldn't believe how wonderful it sounded. HUGE. Clean but with breakup, edge but with clarity. Simply astonishing.

It's never even had a cap job- totally stock.

598 made only. It has literally cleaned me out financially but fuck it.

For the rest of us, there’s the Rift Vibro 63. I’ve loved mine ever since I bought it.

I agree. @RiftAmps will also be servicing this baby. I'd only ever trust Chris and Jesse with this one.

That’s one hell of an Amp, well done that Man, always good to see a 2x10. Chris is building me a 22w 2x10 with a few interesting tweaks, his work and amps really are exquisite so it will be in safe hands that’s for sure

its not a patch on a Blackstar Fly 3 is it?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

How loud does it have to be to get those tones?
