Strings. Which ones do you use?

I've still yet to see anyone describe what makes the D'addario NYXLs better than the regular strings - certainly couldn't tell much of a difference myself. Anyone care to shed some light?

I like the sound of them and they seem to last well.  However, I don't like the higher string tension.
Obviously just my personal opinion.

D'addario NYXLs 9-42 on Fenders, and 10-46 on Gibsons... not cheap but brilliant strings ... much harder to snap mid gig too ;-)

I use custom gauged Kerley 50's Pure Nickel strings.  10,12,16,26,36,46 on Fender scale lengths and 11,13,17,28,38,48 on Gibson scale lengths

Mostly the bottom one  (chugga chugga)

D'addario EXL 10-46 on strats   And D'addario EJ 12-53 on acoustics are my favourites.
