Definitely recommend taking a look at the Mexican Roadorn/Classic Lacquer series. I have the Roadworn Jazzmaster - USA Parts on it and I added a Mastery bridge.
It’s a really good guitar and not one that I would part with.

Got an '03 AVRI Jazzmaster. Sounds great, replaced the bridge with a Mustang one, which is what people did before Staytrem. Excellent pickups - never considered replacing them for a second.

Sold an '04 Fender Japan JM when I got the guitar above and the finish on the Japanese model felt plasticy and the pickups sounded thin. The neck on the AVRI has rolled edges and is far more comfortable too.

The offset I play most of the time now though is a 70s Musima Elgita with a replacement neck modelled on my AVRI, because pretty much everyone and their dog has a Jazzmaster now ;-)
