    Visit an appropriate seller/store - Show interest in a potential purchase - Take the switch tip when they aren't looking  - Leave and say I'll think about it  !!!!!!!!!!!!!
    They are known for parting out vintage guitars and selling them on eBay at inflated prices, that will have come from a late 50’s jazz box or similar.

    Not sure I share the enthusiasm for this chaps. It’s fairly well known that 2 prominent guitar dealers were selling replica husks populated with vintage parts as genuine ‘59 Bursts not that long ago...

    These switch tips were also  used on late 50s Jazzmasters . Identical ones. They look really nice inhand very distinct.

    The same as on my ES-225 I think. My tip is all present and correct (fnaar) but they're expensive little beasties to replace.
