Best relic(er) refinishes in the U.K.?

There’s a little more work required to do that than a paint job. But it can be done.

I was thinking of @juansolo, but @poopot may have done the same!

I did indeed strip and refinish my baja... fecking horrible job stripping that poly off... heat gun and perseverance!...

The only guy that can achieve that level of finish is sadly not in the UK. I'm guessing to do a refin on a Baja wouldn't be £viable if you use one of the top guys in the U.S .

Call me lazy but having spent a stupid amount of hours stripping and sanding an old poly finish JHS Vintage DC junior. The sealer is like the stuff they use to build nuclear bunkers. In the end I got stubborn and cussed and would not give up and got it done but it’s a bitch of a job.

If if I was going to pay someone to do a Tele I would just buy a body and get them to finish and relic it and then donor the neck and parts it cannot be worth paying someone to spend a day or to on stripping it even if you were tooled up for it may be 4 or 5 hrs to strip a multipart body makes no sense in my mind

I already follow him, was trying to stay in the U.K. if I could of helped it

Given that it will have a half pound of plastic on it I'd just sell the body and buy a pre aged one from SC or similar.
