Fender Elite Thinline Telecaster 'Suspension' bridge

Some great thoughts and views on this thread. I’m new to this sight and will only comment on gear I own or had a few weeks experience of. I bought my telecaster elite very cheap whilst buying a pedal. The guitar is amazing and plays as good and better than as any of my others. 

I never thought about the bridge design and reading the comments don’t know why fender have done it either.  That being said it’s a quality bridge looks good and works. I liked the old cigar tin or whatever it’s labelled and even like hitting my finger when I was learning. I can’t imagine changing the suspension bridge like some have said or why anyone would
