If it’s a Squier Classic Vibe don’t forget to say ‘better than Fender Custom Shop and all my mates agree’.  ;)
Steady on, you don't want to over state the bleeding obvious.

Make any faults or blemishes clear. Take lots of in-focus photos.
Anyone tries to screw you for mis-selling then at least you've been straight.

"Bought for my son/daughter who gave up after two lessons."

"Rarely played" - yet still manages to have two strings and a knob missing.

As someone who occassionally buys stuff on ebay the question that always occurs to me is that 'if it's so great why are you selling it?' . I think from a private seller a bit of honest detail on this question is appreciated by buyers.

Because music is so subjective I would not necessarily be put off with statements like 'I am not bonding with it' or 'it does not fit my musical style'. The most common reason I see on ads is that it the instrument is  not being used but that does beg the question 'why are you not using it?'.

Also I think links to independent reviews or threads about the instrument are more helpful that extended hyperbole.

They only ever send me the promotion just after I have listed something.

I don't really care WHY someone is selling something. I just want to know what it is, condition and how much. Don't need to know your life story.

I guess people sell things for various reasons, so a great guitar could be being sold to pay rent or fix a broken car.
