For those that are able to, try the fat general into the peacekeeper. I honestly feel bad for anyone who’s paid £2k for a klon !

what kind of strat tones do you get from this pedal?  artists tones?  I havent come across a decent demo with one and a strat yet.

Struggling to answer this without saying “you get strat tones.... duh”.  ;)

When you say “artist tones” do you mean being able to dial in SRV or Eric Johnson sounds?

Well, it doesn’t sound like either of those guys. Mainly because I’m not Steve or Eric ;) sounds like me with my strat into a Lonestar. It’ll do everything from clean boost to distortion.

I've had to turn the treble full on to get enough crunch.
Having said that, I've a mahogany body, neck, rosewood board guitar which does sound darkish.

I like it a lot. Lot's of crunch when dialled in.
If I had talent, I'd be talented.

Honestly, pretty much any tone you want short of high gain rock. The eq is so powerful you can dial in what you want - full range boost, mid hump, Klon style, always on ‘sweetener’ etc.

Here’s a peacekeeper into a pushed clean Lonestar into a vintage Marshall 4 x 12 with my new Strat. Average playing... killer tone!

No problem. I could happily play that setup for hours and hours.

Is there much difference in size between the V1 and 2?

All e dimensions were shrunk..... it makes a big difference when they are compared side by side

I've recently acquired a Peacekeeper and used it before my Cali76 Compact - first time I've done this with a drive pedal. The combination works really well with a Strat or Tele, allowing me to play clicky/damped rhythm parts with a tiny bit of crunch, that stays perfectly in control.

The presence control (mids into the clipping stage) sets the basic character of the drive, which you can then tweak with the (post-clipping) treble and bass controls. Brilliant.
