That is a stunner, congrats. Nice thick neck profile too.

I have a CS 61 in chocolate 3tsb but in journeyman relic, link here: https://imgur.com/gallery/JRlOta7

Almost purplish brown colour in direct sunlight. Very cool.

Looks awesome :) I’m sure mine will look like that in due course - maybe quite a while though! Yeah purplish Brown is about right. I really like it. It’s such a nice thin finish.  Feel totally different from the poly on my classic player

In fact it even feels different from the nitro on my les Paul.

Yeah Fender and Gibson nitro seem different. Especially the Am vintage range. My AV52 tele chips and dents just by looking at it.

Did you ask for the custom shop case? I thought a 59’ would come with the brown tolex jobbie?

Anyway, beautiful Strat. I recently picked up a used custom shop at just under what yours weighs.

I always thought I liked really light Strats but around 8lbs actually feels like a nice weight to me. Happy playing
If a new guitar arrived and I opened it to find a brown jobbie I would be nonplussed.
    Jings!
