I realized... I don't need anything... I'm completely happy with my live tone... after years of trying stuff I can't get any better than what I've got.   I've recorded numerous live shows and it's only the pa that I don't like at times,  my rig is ideal.   I don't even lust  after new equipment.  I can't even be bothered yo drive to Anderson's.  I might buy a new cable in a few years time. 

Sorry shops, I'm sorted.

I literally lust after nothing apart from eastern European hotties.

Me too, so I bought a Gibson acoustic I don't really need for work, it's purely for pleasure.

I bought a nice guitar 25 years ago (a Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro).  Since then I've bought another 12 6-string electrics, 6 of which I still have, and I've just gone back to using the Eggle for live as, currently, 'it's the one for me'.  That's well over £10k I've spent going full circle.

I don't really need another guitar at the moment, I've got a decent collection with a bit of variety. Nice amp too - Princeton Reverb; with that, a Boss BD-2, DD-7 and a Marine Layer Reverb I can get most of the sounds that I want. Doesn't stop me keeping half an eye open for anything else I might like though!

I’m in a similar boat but from a different angle,

I’m six months into an ever spiralling series of home improvements and all the guitar gear has been packed away in the loft for safe keeping.
Thing is, I’m not really missing it, not feeling the urge to drag any of it out and play it.
I do wonder if I’ve come to the end of guitar playing as the thought of getting the shed sorted as a guitar workshop is more interesting than previous thoughts of turning the summer house into a home studio
