There was a moment last year when I thought to myself this is it, I now have the perfect home rig and I couldn’t possibly need or want anything else:

Les Paul R8 + Marshall SL5 + TC Spark + TriMetal

(Along with other stuff including a couple of other electrics and acoustics obviously)

I sold off all of that perfect little setup within 6 months or so.

It really is a mental health issue....

I have said that ten years ago, but since then I have bought at least 7 more guitars and sold 7 during that time... one Novo on order, which may be the end of it.... That said I am always a sucker for pedals
