That is the whole point.

If Gibson want to have a meaningful strategy they have to persuade guitar buyers that the name of the small builder should be on the headstock.....not someone elses name. The customer is driving this. It seems very unlikely that the builder would not love to put his name on the single cut guitar he is building.

So.....It comes down to understanding why the buyer does not want the builders name on the headstock of a high quality hand built guitar. What is the different outlook  between these buyers and the owners of Gil Yaron guitars?
