    Good luck Lewis.

Top fella, top player, and as an irrelevant aside, was there the night I finally bagged a first date with the lady who went on to be Mrs Shugz. How's that for useless trivia? :)

Must be good for a discount eh?

Buy cheap, sell big. Get in, get out, get home.

    Cheers

How to end up with a small fortune from dealing honestly in guitars...

... start with a large one.

  • Congratulations on coming out of the closet, so to speak.
There was another thread discussing flippers and I got a few lols for suggesting I would prefer dealers to be up front about their plans.  In some cases you would be doing me a service by buying something quickly so I didn't miss out on something I was after.
I know of a couple of closet dealers on here that I would not sell to just because they must think that the rest of us can't work Google.
Apart from anything else something part-time lets you try out a number of guitars.  Trying to go full-time would be tough these days unless you can manage to specialize in something niche. There is very little generalist middle ground left.

It will be interesting to see if any similar threads appear.

If you happen across another of those LPB 60's Original teles give me a shout.

Also, if I get another of those teles, it's staying. They are absolutely stunning guitars!

  • Frets on fretboards dont hang over the edge. Whoever re fretted that guitar you bought abd sold on, knows nothing about guitar construction. Stainless steel or not

Can I question the wisdom of buying a guitar from the Fretboard Classifieds Lewis, then advertising it again straight away for a few hundred quid more back here whilst the original ad is still current for all to view? Its not like the seller is allowed to hide the original ad's price under Classifieds rules.
    Good luck :)

Normally I'd be with you but he appears to have marked it up by a single pound, which I suspect might be more to make a round number than it is to make a massive profit.
