Wanted: black switch tip

Hey you crazy cats!

Just taken delivery of this rather jolly B&G Little Sister.  Just find that the amber switch tip spoils the aesthetic and ruins my day.  Anyone got a spare black one in their parts tin?  Far as I can tell it' s just a bog standard switch...

Yup. One SE Asian switch tip design, available in several colours. 

NOTE: American plastics will not fit. Thicker shaft, different thread.

Egad! You’re right!

I tried the tip from my Les Paul. 

Aaaaaand the screw thread on the LP turns out to be quite a bit wider, so it falls off the B&G, and the B&G tip is too narrow for the LP. Who’d a thunk it?

Tell me your terms, good @Funkfingers and let us transact for one of your finest narrow thread black switch tips.

Indeed he was, but our efforts foundered on metric/imperial incompatibility

Dang. I have a selector switch with one of those orangey plastic tips with the flat face around the thread hole.

My surplus black switch tips are tapered at the hole end, the hole is narrower and the thread pitch is different.

Forcing one of these tips onto your existing switch will probably strip the plastic away where the switch shaft thread needs to engage, defeating the object of changing the tip.

Apologies for raising your hopes and wasting your time.
