You can put the IKEA Kallax units on castors too, to keep it mobile. I can't get away with that as mine are 6 rows high and stuffed with vinyl, but pedal weight won't be an issue.

What about a rack case with just pedal drawers?
I used to do this but it ends up quite expensive as you get more pedals.

Rack draws (2-3u) can hold 5-7 pedals each, unless they are tiny ones, which I don't really have so I'd need about 20 of them and then 60u of racking in a studio with quite a lot of racking already.

Also metal on metal (like a pedal in a draw) tends to end up with weird resonances, which is why I got rid of the rack draws.
You can get way more pedals than that in a drawer.

I have 25 pedals of various average sizes in my 3U and 11 (with space to spare) in my 2U. Locked-up safe and secure, with customisable plastic dividers and corrugated cardboard-lined to stop any scratches.

    I think, therefore.... I... ummmm........

Ah, I thought you were thinking with having them wired up on a slide out rack tray.
    That looks pretty neat.

    Nice Whammy 1.
I sold mine to Justin Sandercoe, wish I didn't now.

Perhaps that is what the OP meant? Anyway, there's an option if it is just for storage...

Yeah, love the Whammy - mainly for the detune chorus though LOL

I have another 3U drawer as well... and don't even get me started on the pedalbaord! :)

Get a couple of office pigeon hole racks and wall mount them.

I like those little picket fences in the pedal suburbs.

Then you could get a muff and have loads of tiny beer cans and joint ends strewn about that compartment.

How about selling what you don't use, then you can store the proceeds neatly in your wallet ;)

I’d only waste it on food and bills.
