It's awful bit there's a part of me that would still like one as an oddity.
Me too, but not for fifteen hundred quid.
I’d like them a lot more without that hideous pickguard, it looks like someone decided to combine Ikea with Orange County Choppers!

Imagine the sigh of relief the owner expelled when they realised it had been stolen.
It would have been like a full body orgasm.

  • If you see this on the CC website, it’s listed as a “Duck Tiger”.  The mind boggles.

I was told CC offer you half what the lowest selling item was on Ebay.  I wonder how much the seller got, if that is genuine?

Out of curiosity I asked about my blues deluxe when I was selling it...........drum roll.......£110. Thankfully I'm not addicted to any substances so I wasn't that desperate.
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

  • I recently purchased an amp from Cash Generator that turned out to be nicked, I was selling it on as it didn't work volume-wise or space-wise for my spare room and the chap who it'd been nicked from got in touch. Unpleasant situation all round, I had to take it back to the shop but also now assisting police in getting this resolved and the amp back with it's rightful owner. God knows how long that'll take.

It was an amp that costs >£1,300 new, usually about £800 second hand, I bought it for £400 from CG!! So whoever sold to them (who presumably nicked it) just only have got less than £200 for it. Madness.

Shan't be happy shopping there again now though
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

My (local-ish) CC variant (imagine a third-rate, low-rent version of CC) do the following:

    • Check the lowest (actual) selling price of a similar item on eBay.
    • Offer you well below that. They then...
    • Print off a copy of the highest-priced example (not necessary one which sold)
    • Attach the print-out to the guitar/gear (which is priced *just* under that price) as an example of how good a deal they're giving their punters...

Needless to say, their stock tends to hang around for some time...

My local CC had a Fender Custom Shop Strat in the other week and two Musicman models, so every so often decent gear turns up in them.

^ I almost bought a Vintage Metal Axxe Wraith for a very few quid just to strip the parts, then I found a Dean Dimebag Black Bolt ML for even less.
Still haven't been able to cannibalise it, it is actually rather good  B)
Dusk Tiger, hmmmm?  Still, one of only 1000 made  ;)
That's a Gibson CS then. The Collector's Choice is certainly not production line...What number are we on now? 38 or summit?

Hi, not entirely sure of your point?
CC isn't production line as you say but the Dusk Tiger wasn't either, nor was it CS, just limited numbers.

It would need to come with a balaclava for that.

In case anyone saw you playing a Dusk Tiger...
