Yup...clean break, roughly equal on each side of the neck. Titebond and clamp job.

  • 10 grains on the headstock can only mean one thing.....It's a top stick. Naturally this is a cricket context where grains matter. @Gassage will hopefully agree.
It may also, in a magical way, give you better tone. Happy NGD.
If I had talent, I'd be talented.
    Red meat and functional mushrooms.
    Persistent and inconsistent guitar player.
A lefty, hence a fog of permanent frustration

Not enough guitars, pedals, and cricket bats.

  • Interesting but not quite wacky enough for a classic Harry Seven purchase. I wonder what caused the neck to crack like that.

You should try for charitable status, taking in unloved guitars. Great afternoon tv advert potential "we found this poor little fellow abandoned in a loft, baking in summer, freezing in winter. He's going to need a lot of Harry's love. For only £2 a month..."

True - it doesn't meet the usual H7 standard of weirdness, but the main deciding factor in this particular case was the price...

  • Looks like the lovechild of pattrick eggle and john suhr... with not a small hint of ron thorn in the logo! Pretty cool whatever it is!

  • I really like that. Body shape reminds me a little bit of a Gibson M-III, but I'm pretty sure it isn't one of those!
Too much gain... is just about enough \m/

Mi first thought was that it reminded me of a Brian Moore guitar, but now that I've Googled them they didn't look quite the way I remembered...

I've got a similar break to fix - if you don't mind me asking, did you water the titebond down? or prize it open very much to get it down deep into the crack? Slightly nervous about doing this myself...
