Also, I think most people use the phrase "looking to get back what I paid for it" etc as a quick and friendly way of saying "Look, I'm not here to make a profit/swindle anyone, I just don't want to loose money if I can help it", which is a totally reasonable sentiment.
Horrah, at last. It's usually used when someone has bought and is selling quickly after, and thus used to demonstrate that they didn't buy and sell to make a profit, just that they didn't like it, and if it was worth £xxx last week, then one journey by DHL probably hasn't devalued it too much. (Although one journey by Parcelforce is probably a different matter!)

All, this "I hate it when people say" is mindblowingly pointless.

And just for the record, my"axe" "plays like butter", and my pedals sound "creamy", so there
    :)

Do you keep your 'axe' in the fridge, or in a dish, like what I do?
