Went against what I said and tried to sand the surface of the moon away


And it worked out pretty well!
Then proceeded to add a thin layer of colour which looked good, added a heavier layer and then added too much in one go...



But here she is, time to wet sand the heaviness away before clearing

Bit of an update, I've started wiring it all, just have the pickup grounds left to solder




I am aware the copper shielding will be ineffective at the moment, I ran out and need to order some more,

And I dropped the body down my stairs the other day... so I'll live with the dings and colour chips now, Patina right?
