Trimming does not get it out by the root - Waxing is the answer not permanent but lasts longer and grows back finer .

Also fairly painless if done by a professional

Warm wax is put in your nose ears cools then hardens it is then removed taking hair with it.

Takes  sub 10 mins if done regularly and professionally. No pain.

Somehow I don't quite think you're being totally honest here :)

  • Plucking could feasibly lead to death from infection, the small veins that cool off blood from the brain run down the nose  or some such idea. Anyway you could get a brain infection

  • Actually I’ve had a bit of a nose picking time lately, I sometimes get these unshiftable bogies that are quite sharp/glass like which inevitably leads to like picking a scab. Goi g to put some cream up nose tonight and leave them alone , I don’t want a brain infection.

You can get very sharp round-ended scissors from Amazon or somewhere, they're the best. I've had loads of electric trimmers and they never seem to get all the long tufts in my nose - they're ok for ears though.

Waxing your nose hair is a bad idea - it has hair in it for a reason.

I use a Babyliss groomer/trimmer thingy - it has an attachment for ear and nose hair, ans another for trimming eyebrows and sidies.  It was a cheap post-Xmas deal from Tesco.
