Oddly enough a racks sheer weight protects you against back injury as no matter how important it might be to lift it you know can't actually lift it on you own so make no attempt. Obviously it's on wheels so that also helps.
Everything plugs into the front, you don't need to get to the back .... all the sockets can be pro ... mine are powercon for power, speakon for speaker and XLR for send return ...... one mic lead will do both, use pin 1 groud for earth, pin 2 send, pin 3 return. Need a longer send return for bigger stages ? just add on another mic cable
When it starts pissing with rain at a festival just unplug the front cables put the door on and go to the bar. A decent rack is water tight
Mines in my workshop next week for an upgrade. I am installing a fridge unit at the rear and some pipework that can pump beer from the front
I used to have one of those.. long gone now but I still have the custom built case to put it in.
is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?
That brings back some memories.

I know there are three different rack cases and various FX units, plus a Matrix power amp and various cabs, but I'm not sure I still have any guitar preamps...
