Guitarguitar can be good. Sometimes they get their pricing wrong in your favour.

Given the prices they offer on trade ins they are probably still making a very handsome profit.

Andertons, but they only update their second hand stuff once a week tops, usually in the middle of the night for some reason, and the best stuff tends to have gone by the time you spot it.

Peach is worth a regular look too.

Coda and Peach. Neither like their second hand stock to hang around so they are decently priced and have some decent stuff

Agree with coda, personal opinion  but I find peach is always overpriced all be it well marketed.

Guitarguitar/andertons are good but as previously referenced the good stuff goes quick so you have to be actively looking.

I think richtone, looks the best on the net for the average guitar player like me in terms of stock. But upon a visit, I thought all the used stuff was sub par in terms of condition and working order (amps).

Chandlers guitar experience occasionally has a steal

PMT in Birmingham is really strange, their electric used section is like walking through a mid 2000s nu metal nightmare. But their acoustic section is always really good

I've noticed Express Music often get some nice used gear in. It does tend to go quickly though, so keep an eye out.

Denmark Street can be funny. A lot of the hipsters know sweet FA about anything not hip. So I’ve seen a 1980’s John Sykes Japanese Tokai LP Custom for £200. There was a Max Les Paul for £3500 that seemed to go very quickly. But then I’ve seen late 80’s silver series Squiers listed as JV’s. Also the Shaftesbury bolt on LP’s for £350 made me laugh.

Trouble is I only see the bargains when I’m skint.

Coda Music, nearly always a daily addition to their s/hand stock and fair pricing. Open to offers too.
Guitar Guitar, pricing highish but wiggle room on offers sometimes make deals ok.

    For me...that's it!!

Cash Converters actually has quite a lot of decent stuff. Although I've never tried ordering any of it mind you.

I like Coda - they price stuff to move - and the last secondhand guitar I bought from them came with brand new strings and a nigh-on-perfect setup too, so someone there is cleaning stuff up before it goes out. Not that other places don't do this, but worth knowing.
