Definitely didn't bottle it J under those circumstances and your regret just shows that you DO actually want to play live!:)
Build up to it or observe a local jam night then try your luck. A Gearfest is also good fun and can present you with an opportunity, if you so wish, to play in front of friendly and supportive bods when running through your rig or trying other people's gear.

Cheers KK! I'm on top of it now and can see the +'s. I've played the guitar more effortlessly this week than I can remember, I think it must have spured me on a bit. I'm off to the South Coast(Christchurch/Mudeford) again tomorrow so can have a relax.

Shame about the weather tomorrow, Brrrrrr!
