Vibrato while bending?

I realise now I've been talking to more than one person in this thread, but if you have proper control over bends then this wouldn't be an issue because you'd essentially just be repeatedly bending the note to and from a certain desired pitch at the controlled speed you want to.

Wild and inconsistent pitch clearly means you do NOT have control over what you are doing.

Sit there with a tuner and bend from 1, then 2, then 3 semitones below the desired bent note. Slowly. Back up and down.

Listen. I can hold a bent note at a given, In tune, pitch all day.

But I cant apply vibrato to it.

So having the finger strength to do sustained bends does not equal the capacity to do vibrato.

Having the finger strength plus having the control that comes with repeatedly raising and lowering it accurately between two pitches goes a long way to helping.
