I like the shape, but the control plates are horrible, especially the one for the knobs - it looks like a DIY patch repair when the knobs have been stood on and pushed the pots through into the cavity.

It's ugly in general, but definitely a contender for worst headstock ever.

The headstock looks odd... But cool. The body silhouette is reminiscent of an Airline...not sure I was turned on by that shape.

What I did find really odd was the guitars Gordon Smith did with no cutaways...

That's all sorts of foul. The headstock is hideous, the control 'panel' and pickup surrounds are amateurish, and the body shape is as if someone got acid and melted all the better bits off an already ugly guitar. Oh and it'll just set you back the fat end of four grand with VAT.

I suspect if the buyers of these sorts of instruments actually grew up with junky catalogue guitars being pretty much all they could get ... as I did ... they'd not have the enthusiasm.
