I’m all for guitar shape variety, but

  • The headstock looks odd... But cool. The body silhouette is reminiscent of an Airline...not sure I was turned on by that shape.

What I did find really odd was the guitars Gordon Smith did with no cutaways...

I tried one of these at a guitar show last year. I loved the look of it in baby blue but it weighed a absolute ton and sounded really bright and not very good.  Another one off ‘the list’.

I kinda like it . Although the headstock looks odd it appears to be functional and although a bit strange the control panel looks functional. The gold foil pickups probably sound great but the down side is the price, even at the reduced price it’s a substantial investment.

I genuinely love it but the price is taking the piss. High end junkshop guitars make no sense to me.

I’m ok with it, except for the headstock and tuning peg layout.

I love that boutique takes on old catalogue guitars has become a thing. Many of them were absolutely amazing in the design/visual department but were let down by compromised materials and rushed/lousy build quality.

... I kind of like the headstock.

I'm fairly sure there's an old Japanese guitar I once saw that had a very similar headstock design - cannot for the life of me remember what it is though, and it bugs me. It was something like a Teisco I think, but I can't say for sure.

It looks alright to me.  I don't like the hardware or pickups or the 1960s Japanese guitars meet the Jetsons vibe of the features, but no problem with the body shape or the headstock.

Looks like a baby stuck in a plastic bag. So no, not too keen on that one.

    and that headstock!....
Pretty sure that’s nicked from a British luthier’s design - I can’t remember the name.
I think it is Nathan Shepherd you're thinking of.

That has to be far and away the ugliest headstock I've ever seen  :#
