Aye - much more so since I put the memory limits in and optimised the config a bit. It was struggling on Sun/Mon mornings and fell over twice, but we've seen higher loads since then without any hint of a problem.

We're all learning as we go ... and compared to the c0ck-ups that our former hosts managed to make (when it was someone's professional job to look after it all), I'd say we're (we, as in you) are doing way a better job so far.

Sounds about right.

I generally delete about 10 out a day.  If you look at the "banned" list you'll see them all. 

And number 600 has just signed up.

41 members on-line at the same time, and who-knows-how-many guests loitering too.

Thinks that's the most that I've seen so far.

Just a quick update and pat-on-the-back post...a couple of weeks ago, I went round some of the popular forums and did a quick (and very unscientific) bit of analysis. I took their total post counts and the earliest post I could find, and translated that into a rough "posts-per-year" number. The results surprised me quite a bit:

For reference, I took the most recent 9 weeks, since the traffic stabilised (it was up and down quite a bit in the early weeks).

Anyway, to be sat between basschat.co.uk and sevenstring.org in terms of post traffic is pretty fucking amazeballs, if you ask me.

I think every single member deserves a damn good pat on the back.
