Or if it had been something to do with fixing the variable neck angles or fragile headstocks .

I'd actually be interested if Gibson were doing something about that sort of thing, instead of dreaming up yet more marketing bullshit about microscopically different varieties of faded cherry sunburst with stupid names.

Same here. Don't know what's blocking them but I'm glad I've got whatever it is.

1 out of 10.  A monkey selecting at random should have got 2 or 3.

I guess that makes me the opposite of a marketing person.  That has made me happy.

Didn't bother with the quiz, but I do remember a thread on another forum where some of the participants were sure that original  58-60 standards were offered in "ice tea" " lemon burst" etc after stating that the cherry sunburst finish wasn't cool and "sucked". and was the worst of the finishes that Gibson did at the time.
