Sadly noticed this after I bought the Artist version. Ah well. Interestingly I found that EZ Drummer worked in Studio One, which begs the question which plugins will work in the artist version?
That’s quite odd....it shouldn’t work....is it the full version or Toontrack trial?

I’ll be very surprised if any other 3rd party work

It's the full version but an older one. I wasn't expecting it to work but it seems to do just fine. I'm not complaining! :-)

Having said that I need to explore the inbuilt drums in Studio One

I had it (actually still have it, but haven't loaded it up in years), but I found it unusable because the system performance was so dreadful.

I did everything I could in Windows to try to manage performance, but even with 1 - 2 basic audio tracks, if I set the latency to an acceptable level, performance was spiking up to 90%+ and causing glitches and crackles in the recording.

This is on a quad-core machine that can run much more complex projects in Reaper with only a few % system load, so I abandoned Studio One.

This was about 3 years ago - I don't know if any more recent updates have fixed this.
