I once had one come with an Epiphone. Couldnt decide what to do with it so just stuck it to the back of my wardrobe door.

    Its become a thing.
A reminder every morning of the shit I spent.
The only easy day, was yesterday...

I've been known to put some of them on pedalboard cases, if only to make it easier to say "mine!" in the absence of a stencil, given I don't need "Mega-band Touring Tag" or whatever etched on it permanently.

The drawstring bags though, WTF? I used to think maybe they'd be useful for other stuff, but they don't normally actually draw properly closed, so you can't even use them as a handy carry bag for other small bits and bobs.

They stay in the box to greet the next owner some day...

  • @skunkwerx good to see examples of them being used out in the wild.

Should we as sellers make more of an effort when sending items? I make sure they are packed well, but that's it.
I remember when I bought a pedal from @UnclePsychosis , he included a sort of personalised greeting card, which was a nice touch.

    Ha! Glad you liked it.

That partly just what I perceive as good manners (thanks, mum and dad) and also a holdover from the early eBay days, when you had to write someone a cheque and post it to them, so a transaction always felt more like "proper" correspondence.

I guess it just always seemed a little bit odd to post something to someone and not include any kind of note or anything with it. Shops always include a shipping note etc.

    I like stickers.
But I am a man child.
What do you stick them on?
Rack case, guitar case, the Marshall cab that looked the same as everyone else's. Helps to identify stuff at venues after a few beers of if the singer is "helping".

Niece had a great time adding Peppa pig stickers onto a load of my stuff, as they're normally only allowed in a designated sticker book!
