  • Yeah, it's great fun. My aim was to get this sort of sound; just that classic fat P sound. With the LA Comp and Ampeg B15 models on the HX Stomp it frickin nails it (at least to my ears).

    Minor update. I'm using it in a band! Per my other threads I've tweaked the amp modelling side and I've got it tonally in a good place. 

    I have had some buzzing which seems to be just lack of shielding - it doesn't do it at home but does in the rehearsal studio when I've got plenty of compression on and everything wound up a bit. 

    I've properly shielded the control cavity and pickguard so we'll see how much that helps when I'm back there this weekend.
