Zoom calls etc - mixing in live guitar?

Trying to figure out how to do this in anticipation of attending a music lesson. 

Ideally, would want to mix guitar through software via a usb interface with a backing track e.g ireal pro. I think Zoom only allows one audio source but presumably, this is get-around-able...

Anyone done it?

yep. you can tell zoom to route audio through an external interface, so you can DI your guitar in just fine. but you will need a mic to use through the interface as well.

if you need to use a built-in mic on a laptop or tablet, there might be a workaround using the audio share settings (they're confusingly buried in the screen share options).
