    Bang on.

A 125 is one of two 'that got away'. It was in Australia and was maybe 1200 AU Dollars (which is dirt cheap). By God it sounded good. I still kick myself occasionally...
    not a T - but here's mine.

Some Epi Casinos cane from the factory with Gibson / switchcraft electrics. They are worth seeking out.

I recently bought a Hagstrom Viking. It's needed some fettling (nut height, some fret levelling) but it's now a nice instrument for not too much money...

Have you tried a Duesenberg semi?

  • @markblack I had one for a while the cheaper version and it was a nice guitar. Might consider another one but those Fidelity guitars look really cool. I’ve never had anything with filtertrons...
I’ll have a tele next year so will have that side of things sorted

i have one of Matt @ fidelity early prototypes.

I'd love to get one try one of his full blown guitars.

the stellarosa looks amazing > https://www.fidelity-guitars.co.uk/stellarosa

some on the 'lite' versions they've just launched look great and pretty good value.

(I'm not on commission just have a soft spot for the brand :) )

Guitar nerds just did a podcast with Matt.

I really like the look of them, especially the stripped back lite ones - I just wish they also had a trem!

I'd have a lite, with trem and matching headstock with an nos-ish finish (they don't offer brand new ultra glossy type finishes). But I'm not sure they can do that tbh!

I'm pretty sure he will. He posted on Facebook/Insta once a while back that he had a bunch of custom-ordered 'Lite' models in the queue that were not very 'lite' at all. You'll just pay appropriately, obviously. Fire him an email!

  • I'm close to pulling trigger on a Fidelity Lite. I just need to decide on pickup position! Neck or middle, neck or middle, neck or middle. I have a Dano U1 which has the pickup more towards the middle, maybe about half way between the neck position and middle position. Doesn't get in the way of the pick.
I am thinking neck position just to be different, but need to decide on fat mustang pickup or P90.....
I will have a used Mascis JM on the way too, which might somewhat cover the P90 side of things for now...

Awesome. Which shape? What colour? Personally I would do neck with the Mustang pickup but things are a little more hazy with a P90, middle would be interesting for me. But only you know what’s best for you. :)

@Whitecat I'm thinking of a stellarosa, sonic blue, rosewood fretboard, neck fat mustang.... now that would be very different to any guitar I have or had.

Niiiiice. Looking forward to seeing it! I’m thinking about a Double Standard lite at the moment myself, with no clear plan, budget or space for it. So it’s on the “someday” list anyway. :D

  • @Whitecat I have a few things that will be sold over the coming months, otherwise, I wouldn't be thinking of it!

  • @Creed_Clicks I have a Stellarosa Lite being made for me at the moment (spotted the neck with my name in chalk on his Insta the other day!).

It's a Lite, but with plenty of custom options:

    Matching headstock (shell pink, obviously)
2 x pickups (Goldfoil neck, filtertron Bridge)
    Upgraded the the Fidelity bridge
    Baked maple/rosewood neck/board
    Dark tot scrath plate
I've gone for a NOS finish - no relic job, but probably not pristine

Getting a second pickup isn't too much more as all the Lites are routed tthe same, pickups are mounted to the scratch plate. On the same note, you could order a second plate and move the one pickup around yourself. Matt mentioned that in an Insta post a while ago.

My add-ons made it a fair lick more expensive, but, its a custom guitar, so why not!

I'm already thinking about getting the basic lite model with a single mustang pickup too. Kind of like an Epiphone Coronet vibe.

I just think he's making really cool guitars. Should be with me in a couple of weeks. I'll do an NGD (never had nice enough gear to do one before really).

  • @StruanRobertson I ordered one the same as the insta pic there, but in shell pink, and need to decide on pickguard colour. I am in two minds whether to get a bridge pickup as well, but with just the neck, I think that would be cool enough for me!

  • @Creed_Clicks I'm sure it'll be ace. Can't wait to get a hold of mine.

Got to say great call on Fidelity guitars not one I was aware of and an interesting range. Also nice to see the lite range being made. I am always moaning no small builders want to build sub 1k guitars in the U.K. been shouted down here a few times about my ignorance of cost time etc so great Fidelity is giving it ago and by the sounds of it winning new customers.
