Sold: PRS McCarty Goldtop

Couple of very nice guitars for sale. I've kept the thread clear of too many photos but you can access the full album for each one by clicking the relevant links. Happy to post as I've got suitable packaging materials. Can't currently meet up as under local lockdown in Swansea.

1. McCarty, built in 2004, wide fat neck with a bit of fret wear. A few dings here and there with a couple more notable ones in the one piece back. 7.7lbs. Loaded up with fairly rare, earlyish #7 USA PRS pickups. In its original case with some paperwork and tool, no tag.

Fano SP6 Standard, one of the more recent models before the Standard line was discontinued. Build by their Master Builder Wes McClave. Documentation, Fano gig back, polishing cloth and tools included. Alder body, rosewood/maple neck, Gibson scale. Sweet guitar.

Unfortunately I can’t include any psychoactives with the sale, man. Otherwise either one of them and some kind of quacky ‘tron in the chain will get you halfway there. The remaining half is your long strange trip to make.

I’ve had one of those Fanos and that’s a brilliant price for a really versatile guitar. I think if Keith Richards was browsing the classifieds right now he’d snap that up. It does a great vintage Tele impression on the bridge and the neck pickup really fattens things up.

I left him a voicemail but he’s usually at legs ,bums and tums on Monday morning , I’ll hear back later no doubt.
