Could have left the bit in about them being as good as any, if not better than, any other non-rosewood PRS...

I'll give this one last bump for a while as I'm sure you're tired of looking at it.

@imalrightjack @SimpleSimon thanks for the comments/bumps.

It's priced £500 lower than the cheapest I was able to find. Given a McSoapy sold for £1400 a couple of weeks ago and one on Ebay not long ago at £1600 I thought that a lightweight gold top maccarty at £1295, given the pickups and condition was quite fair even if I'm taking a hit. Whether that's a bargain or not I suppose it depends on what way you look at it.

Obviously can't see the previous comments, but I'd say that is a very good price indeed. I had a similar Mccarty goldtop (although dots instead of birds) and they are brilliant instruments. I'm particularly fond of the stoptail bridge - easy to maintain, intonates well, and plays great.

That McCarty is stunning, a beautiful instrument. Wish I had the spare cash!
