Arguably quite a dull song but can be used for some off piste noodling in a drone/ faux Eastern style.
I think a lot of Neil Young stuff with Drop D is actually double drop D (i.e. the top E is dropped as well as the low one) but a passable F*ckin' Up can be achieved with just normal Drop D, and again you can detour on some fun excursions from there.
Edit: I know it's not really "Blues Rock" if you listen to the original, but you could easily put a more Bluesy slant on it, without really changing the basic structure especially if you don't sound like Freddie when you sing (which I presume you don't...)
