It's really not even close, is it?  The amount of wear on the back of the original is absolutely extraordinary, what the hell did he do to it?  It reminds me of school desks.

Must have been his Texan belt buckles destroying the wood on the bottom edge.

it’s absolutely Impossible to replicate years of genuine wear.
