The only way they could improve it is if it had more wheels. Which suggests:

Always wanted one of these, ever since my Dad took me to see the RAC Rally a few times when I was a kid. Still mt favourite car...
I learned years ago that aiming too high always leads to disappointment.
My wife and I talk about this all the time. What would we buy if we win the lottery/finally come up with a decent business idea that works.
I’d have a 911 or two, maybe a Cayman GT4, maybe a bonkers super saloon/estate, a tuned M5/RS6, although I’m not a fan of autos. A Caterham/Atom for track days, I’d like a supercharged Honda K20 Elise, some other things…
But my every day car, I’d be tempted to keep what I have just now, leave it dirty, with that little scrape that needs fixed and a few stone chips etc.
Then go to town underneath, supercharger, forged pistons and rods, fancy cams, lightweight fly, bigger brakes, renew all the rubber and stiffen the suspension a little bit. Couldn’t really call it a sleeper, it’s already a lardy 2 seater convertible ‘sports’ car, but yeah, that’d be fun.
My ultimate guitar is a Squier Affinity Strat....
Although tbh I really fancy one of the new MX5s
So yeah, if we're talking about dream cars, not "Well, realistically the Cayman makes more sense" cars, a 911 makes the cut. I'd have both.
And - re this thread - if they're just 'as good' as the 911, then they're not really cars to dream about.
Don't get me wrong - I'd take a good 993 Carrera 2 over almost anything else ever made.
