Don't get me wrong, loving the amp so far..  Having the BE and the Taco is the perfect paring for big/small/rehearsal situations.

thats reassuring. but a plexi clean of course? is there much of an issue with getting your favourite tones for both channels with the shared eq?

im seriously considering a smallbox seeing as its more achievable for me. id be worried about clean headroom though.

the BE hasn't got a shared EQ, the BE and Clean channels are separate unlike on the Smallbox.

oh right! perhaps i was looking at the old version of the BE or something then.

edit: i must be missing something, i can only see one eq on it. is the clean fix eq or something?

edit2: bloody hell my eyes are playing tricks on me! disregard my last sentences haha.

well.. 5 months later.. and still loving this amp.. best amp purchase I've ever made and can't see me ever wanting to part with it.. It's such a good feeling knowing you're happy with your tone and have no need to change it.. I don't think my rig has changed in the 5 months I've had it other than adding an EP Boost pedal, which for me is a big deal..

Yes there expensive, probably overpriced, but IMHO worth every penny, and Friedman's support is excellent (had a few valve issues when I first got it). I had so many good comments after my latest gig, even from the sound guy, a guy we've not used before, was really nice to have him come up after sound check and say how well the amp sounded, probably one of the best sounding rigs he's ever worked with, lots of great comments from the crowd as well which is always a bonus.

The only problem I have now is my lack of GAS.. I miss buying things..
