    it was actually the last gig of the 1982 tour and was supposed to be the last time the Stones would play live.  I was at it (I've been at quite a few "last" Stones gigs since), and it was a great show.  The clothes were out there, but at least they didn't have leg warmers on!

    I'm a huge Stones Fan, as was my father, so I've seen extensive footage of this period, so it's no surprise and it raises a smile for me. Love Beast of Burden and.Some Girls was probably their last excellent album.

    Bill's Steinberger L bass was a short scale, made specially. I imagine that a back-up would have been produced. Either way, it/they are pretty rare and, hence, going to be worth a stupid amount of money if they ever go on sale.
