After 3 years, this has become my main gig guitar. It's very versatile with the pickup combination and works well for the general 'party' covers we do.

    But...It's just a bit...drab.

So I'm thinking of refinishing the top. I have a can of Pelham Blue and I've tried out Montana Cosmos Glitter spray over the top, and think it works really well. Looks kind of like sparkly lake placid blue.

Did a tester with 5 coats of gloss nitro on top buffed to a shine. The paints seem compatible. Just the middle bit was sprayed. Link below the pic to a gif that shows the sparkle better

    Talk me out of it!

That's a proper tasty blue sparkle finish, absolutely go for it!

My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.

I need to get on with this, but my Korina LP build is getting preference at the moment!
