Well the butchery is finally complete. List of changes are:

Cleggy de-glossed the neck (I hate that) so it's satiny smooth.

A pair of ASL pickups dropped in (Transonic 70 & Eddie).

Wiring of the switches changed to parallel, split, series.

Fender Toronado bridge fitted.

I love that in keeping with the pawn shop stylie, that none of it is quite perfect. Adding the pups I just drilled another hole for the screw and didn't try to hide the originals with pup rings. Also the spacing of the bridge pup is for a TOM bridge. Finally I had to mod the guard a little to get the Toronado on there and it's not quite straight. Not that you'd notice, but it's there I like the imperfection of it all.

Finally a piss poor pic. Could have done with some natural light, but this is all I got this evening.

Imperfect is fine, but those pickups on a white guard would make my brain itch.

Oh I don't mind that. Though to be fair, in proper light it's nowhere near as jarring. But I couldn't have a pup that's a clone of a Super Distortion in anything other than double cream, that would have been equally wrong
