I was thinking to build a tele with a solid rosewood neck too. This might help, I think it more affordable than Warmoth and some others even if you add the postage and tax.

I got mine from The Stratosphere and it is baseballbat chunky and sublime….

or try @GSPBASSES I have one of his all Rosewood Tele necks which is also sublime
(I have a bit of a thing for Rosewood necks)

I do make solid Rosewood necks, at a very competitive price compared to the necks made in the US. Unfortunately I do not have any in stock at the present time, it will be at least 5 to 6 weeks before I start making them again.

I have a new and as yet unfretted Warmoth one but fear it doesn't tick the 'sensible price' box - can be fretted with whatever is buyer's choice (various fret sizes here as is) - Quartersawn Rosewood, '59 Warmoth roundback profile & currently 10-16 compound radius which can be re-radiused if required, vintage size tuner ream & vintage style truss rod with 21 frets
