I don't have a 7 string pickup ring to try it.. but yes, it should do. The template was based around this pickup drawing from Seymour Duncan, and is designed to be a close fit, so a pickup ring should cover the route.

Yes that looks good thanks. This is the ring we're going to use but unfortunately one of the dimensions is missing, could you cut the four screw holes please so I can use them for locating it?

@Simo sent me some of his standard templates, and did a few custom one-off ones - they're excellent. Fast post, nice bits like rounded edges, clear & crisp. Might be my imagination and/or the newness, but the plexi seems clearer & nicer than material I've bought and other templates.

Thanks Bill. I've tried various brands over the past year and now use the Perspex brand of acrylic (made in UK) exclusively, as it leaves much smoother edges when cut, compared to more budget friendly options.
