NGD - Seeing Double

Just arrived courtesy of Andertons' special offer.

On the right we have my old SE Hollowbody II (acquired from @CountryDave New Year 20220 and to the left my new SE Hollowbody II Piezo.  The plan is to use the Piezo as my main gigging guitar with the non-piezo version as a backup.

I've piezo bridged electrics before (a Parker Dragonfly) and whilst the piezo sound alone hasn't improved dramatically the ability to use IRs in my Helix means that I can get some much better acoustic tones.

It's already been restrung with hybrids 9-46 and had locking tuners fitted (as I did with my non-piezo) to speed up string changes.  I plan to gig it tomorrow night.

I’ve got the OwnHammer (r)Evolution bundle and highly recommend it!

Very nice. I wish I got on with humbuckers, because otherwise that guitar is perfect.
