Thank you for the suggestion but I’m looking for delay/reverb combo that is compact and set and forget.

What about the Source Audio Collider? I set up mine and never touch it again unless I need other pre set, it's not expensive but I think its better than the Del-Verb in terms of functionality and design.

I had one momentarily but it was a noisy hissy thing so it went back. Maybe it was just the one I had. And it has more functionality than I need. Mine is a simple requirement. Tape delay with a tap tempo and a spring reverb that I can leave on permanently.
