PSA: Rick Beato Ultimate Bundle $99

What's Hot
This just popped up on Facebook - Beato Book Interactive, Ear Training, Beginner Guitar and Quick Lessons Pro for $99. Grabbed it because I’d been thinking about getting his ear training course.

Will this training course help stop my ears from sticking out?

Yes. And by yes, I mean no.

Hi mate, a year in did you find the Rick Beato stuff useful? I see at the minute he’s offering all his courses for $89 and was thinking of purchasing.

  • Honestly, not really but I’ve not really delved that deeply into it but that’s my own fault - I got sidelined with work stuff. Sorry that’s not of much help…

    It's more a reference book/manual than a course imo.

And we really need an update from @Offset about his ears.
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

It incudes the ear training course, beginner guitar course and quick lessons along with the interactive Beato book.

It's more reference material than course. It might not be that useful out of context in isolation.

There's definitely good stuff in there but the guy is a massive tool and I can't get past it.

I'm also a grade A jerk but we all like what we like at the end of the day.

Rick Beato Ultimate Bundle should be a wrestling video.

Yeah I've been on the Beato hate-train since day 1 and not ringing the bell to get off now.

When I saw he was doing stuff with Rhett Shill I felt vindicated.

My Trade Feedback Thread is here

Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.

John Robson has written a great book that’s cheaper than a takeaway curry.

IMO it’s brilliant and doesn’t plagiarise or copy like RB does and John complements his book by still giving online lessons  :3

Books that simply (I say simply, I couldn't do.ot) gather together all the shapes and fingerings and add some theory are not a new thing (e.g. Guitar Grimoire vols i-iii anyone recall?) - and it's not a new thing to note that for any of them, that info is already available, sometimes more nicely presented, sometimes cheaper etc.

As I understand it though the new online version of the Beato Book includes links to his old videos for each thing, so it is more immediately 'useable' to start to understand and apply the things.

    Red ones are better.

I bought the book years ago and thought it was a mess. Since then I’ve had emails from him what seems like at least 5 times saying he’s updated it and I can pay more money to download the updated version. I didn’t fall for that again after the first time. Then he puts these sales on offering everything he does for prices like $89. I think it’s a bit of a joke to be honest.

It sounds like the Charles Atlas bodybuilding course.

    I do like John Robson.
I like John because what you see is what you get.
He has been an excellent guitar teacher on line for years.
