  • From the title my mind immediately went to the Snooker theme :)

  • Andy Summers seems an odd choice- apart from "Message In A Bottle", which of his guitar parts can you really describe as "riffs"?

Don't get me wrong, he's a distinctive stylist whose playing makes pretty much every Police song better, he's just not a riff guy.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

    Every Breath You Take, surely?

    Otherwise I don't disagree

Even then, that takes his tally of memorable riffs to a grand total of two.

Admittedly, that's two more than I can claim, but it's nothing compared to Iommi.

I quite agree.  His playing is far too intricate to be described as ‘riffs’.

I was thinking the old early 90s Top Gear theme!

Hmm, I've edited the title to be a bit less ambiguous (I hope)
