I remember having TENS when I cracked my shoulder bone (shoulder not collar) longitudinally when I was 19 - it was all new back then and the physio  turned it up too far and my arm shot out and cracked her on on her tit

That'll learn her. If it was twice too powerful then she should have used a FIVES machine.

  • Call my picky if you like but why on a thread about acoustic guitar is there a pic of an  electric. Not that I have anything against electrics, just seems out of place?

It's a thread about pedals. More to the point, not needing the bloody things.

..... and, after wearing that Yamaha on a strap for a couple of hours you probably will need pain relief.  They are pretty heavy beasts.

A perfect example of why I prefer my acoustic.

So to get a good sound out of an electric then as well as an amp/speaker you need in the region of 100 pedals?? Surely they don't all get used?

Also count me in for not understanding the thread...

Nah, you don't need all those pedals.  I've just sat on the couch with a new budget "tele" that plays and sounds really nice.  I had just set it up and was testing it through a 10W Vox Pathfinder solid state practice amp that doesn't have reverb, and it was set to just start breaking up when picked hard.  Usually I would like a spot of reverb, but it sounded so good without it that I wasn't missing it.  1 x electric and 1 x good sounding small and light amp is all you need.

No, but you might need 20 unique sounds in a production

  • Now I see, was so busy I never clocked the pedals! Tbh even when I play electric I never use pedals. It's a pain enough just having to plug into an amp lol.
